🎬 After receiving my B.A. in Theatre and Dance from the University of Texas, I became a professional actor for about 10 years. I starred as the lead in a national tour musical performing on such stages as the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, the Chicago Theatre, and the beloved Grand Ole Opry.
🎭 While pursuing acting, I also worked my way up the retail ladder. I worked as a store manager at such brands as Free People, Splendid, and Gypsy05.
📈 My favorite position was serving as General Manager of an interior design showroom, Clad Home, where I had the opportunity to build a small business from zero to hero in 4 years. More specifically, I helped grow the brand from $100K/year to $2M/year through strict management of operations and sales team.
🍿 I starred in commercials, feature films, and short films until the pandemic of 2020 abruptly halted my next scheduled musical theatre tour.
👩🎓 I began studying web development at Lambda School and became a full stack developer proficient in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and Python.
🌱 I'm a life-long learner and continue to work on my skills as a developer by learning Typescript and Vue. I love learning new technologies and getting comfortable connecting the dots.
🏡 I live in the lovely neighborhood of Los Feliz in Los Angeles with my husband Jeremy who is a writer/director and co-founder of Tortuga Backpacks.
